ecoDustEX · Engineered in Slovenia

Plastic dust is costing you money.

Stop cleaning. Start producing.

Every gram of dust inside your material stream reduces quality, increases scrap, contaminates moulds and wastes valuable production time. ecoDustEX removes dust directly before the material enters the injection moulding screw.

  • No complicated installation
  • No compressed-air hungry systems
  • No unnecessary downtime
  • Just clean material
  • Higher process stability
  • Lower operating costs

Engineered and manufactured in Slovenia. Developed from real injection moulding production — not laboratory theory.

The problem

Dust is everywhere. Your production pays the price.

Plastic pellets and regrind always contain

  • Dust
  • Fine particles
  • Electrostatically charged contaminants
  • Ferromagnetic impurities

Those contaminants cause

  • ✔Scrap parts
  • ✔Black specks
  • ✔Surface defects
  • ✔Screw contamination
  • ✔Frequent machine cleaning
  • ✔Material losses
  • ✔Increased maintenance
  • ✔Higher energy consumption

Most manufacturers still try to solve the problem with compressed air. That solution is expensive, energy intensive and difficult to control.

ecoDustEX changes the entire approach.

The solution

One machine. Complete material cleaning.

ecoDustEX combines several cleaning technologies into one integrated system. Instead of blowing dust around the machine, it removes contaminants from the material stream before processing.

Everything works automatically during production.

No operator intervention. No interruption of production.

  • 01Controlled material dosing
  • 02Low-flow vacuum separation
  • 03Cyclone separation
  • 04HEPA filtration
  • 05Optional ionisation
  • 06Ferromagnetic particle separation
  • 07Smart airflow control

How it works

Clean material in four steps

  1. 01

    Material enters ecoDustEX

Virgin material or regrind enters the dosing section.

  2. 02

    Dust is released

Ionised airflow neutralises electrostatic attraction and separates dust from pellets.

  3. 03

    Dust is extracted

The patented airflow removes light contaminants while clean pellets continue towards the machine.

  4. 04

Only clean material reaches the screw

Magnets remove ferromagnetic particles before material enters the injection moulding machine.

Results

Before and after dedusting

Real material samples from production trials. The difference is visible without a microscope.

Separated dust and fines

Everything removed from the material stream ends up in the closed collection container instead of inside your machine.

Angel hair fibres and fines separated from clear plastic pellets

Angel hair and fines

Long fibres and fines generated during conveying stick to pellets and cause black specks and surface defects.

Dust inside conveying lines

Without dedusting, fines coat the inside of every pipe, hopper and dryer in your material line.

In production

Installed on real machines. Every day.

ecoDustEX is designed for retrofit installation between the dryer or hopper loader and the injection moulding machine throat. No machine modification, no rebuilding of your material line.

Why ecoDustEX

Built for real production. Not laboratory conditions.

ecoDustEX has been developed together with plastics processors solving everyday production problems.

This is not another laboratory prototype. This is industrial equipment developed for 24/7 production.

Every component designed around

  • Reliability
  • Low maintenance
  • Easy retrofit
  • Low energy consumption
  • Continuous operation
  • Simple servicing

Energy

Stop paying for compressed air.

Traditional dedusting systems rely on continuous compressed air consumption. ecoDustEX uses an energy-efficient electric low-flow airflow system.

Optional ionisation requires only a minimal pulsed compressed-air supply for highly electrostatically charged regrind materials. For most applications, ecoDustEX performs dedusting without continuous compressed air consumption.
